A new one-point design has joined the Kimono Dog collection.
Until now, many Kimono Dog items featured larger illustrations that allowed people to fully enjoy the artwork itself.
I still love those designs.
However, while working on the apparel collection, I found myself thinking about something.
What if Kimono Dog could become part of everyday fashion?
That idea became the starting point for this new design.
For People Who Love Dogs, Every Day
There are many dog-themed clothes available today.
But sometimes they can feel:
- Too cute
- Too playful
- Difficult to coordinate with everyday outfits
As someone who loves dogs, I wanted to create something different.
Something that dog lovers could wear casually, even in their daily lives.
Something simple.
Something easy to style.
Something that still carries a small story.
A Small Kimono Dog, A Quiet Presence
The new design places Kimono Dog as a small one-point graphic on the chest.
At first glance, it looks simple.
Then people notice the little dachshund wearing a furisode kimono.
That subtle presence is exactly what I wanted.
Rather than standing out loudly, it quietly becomes part of your everyday style.
A Casual Gateway to Japanese Culture
At Alo, my goal is not to tell people that they must wear kimono.
Instead, I hope people can casually experience the beauty of Japanese culture.
Kimono Dog is one small doorway into that world.
The design was inspired by my grandmother’s kimono collection and my desire to share a piece of that beauty with others.
Even through something as simple as a T-shirt or sweatshirt, culture can travel.

DACHSHUND CLUB is a collection created for people who love dogs.
But it is also about simplicity, comfort, and everyday use.
This new one-point series reflects that idea more clearly than ever.
For walks.
For coffee shops.
For travel.
For ordinary days.
I hope Kimono Dog can become a small companion in everyday life.
