Then… Suddenly It’s Nap Time
A few minutes later, everything changes.
Before I know it, they’re lying on their back, completely relaxed, taking a belly-up nap all by themselves.
I often laugh and think,
“Weren’t you following me just a moment ago?”
That carefree personality is one of the things I love most about Dachshunds.

When they want affection, they give it with all their heart.
When they’re ready to rest, they happily enjoy their own quiet time.
