Introduction
Some people may wonder:
“Why dachshunds?”
The answer is deeply connected to my life and the people — and dogs — I love most.
My Life Has Always Been Alongside Dogs
When I was six years old, my first dachshund came into my life.
Since then, I have always walked through life together with dachshunds.
They were beside me during both happy and difficult moments.
To me, they are not just pets.
They are family.

Ruu and Soo
After my beloved first dachshund crossed the rainbow bridge, two new dachshunds came into my life: Ruu and Soo.
Even now, they continue to bring happiness into my everyday life.
Their presence has comforted and supported me countless times.

Combining My Grandmother’s Kimono and My Dogs
Through my grandmother’s kimono, I discovered a deep sense of Japanese beauty and aesthetics.
And naturally, I began to wonder:
“What if I could express this beauty in a softer and more approachable way?”
That idea became the kimono dog design.
By combining my beloved dachshunds with the beauty of my grandmother’s kimono, the design became a symbol of alo itself.

Making Japanese Culture Feel Closer
I do not want Japanese culture to feel distant or difficult.
I hope people can first feel something simple:
“This is beautiful.”
“This makes me smile.”
If my kimono dog designs can help people feel closer to Japanese beauty and culture, I would be very happy.
And I also hope many people will come to love Ruu and Soo.
